Collaboration

This spring, Karen and I are offering a new course called “Critical Glass.” We are bringing our different perspectives and disciplines to bear on increasing criticality in both the studio and the classroom. We kicked off the semester with a trip to DIA Beacon to look at their contemporary art, with special attention to the use of glass by such artists as Dan Flavin, Robert Smithson, and Gerhard Richter.
