John Gill, John Gill!

So, I want to say farewell to my wonderful colleague, John Gill, who is retiring this semester. I have shared many wonderful conversations on pots and history, gardening and cooking

. John was responsible for directing my attention to giving a close look at 1970s ceramics (Kenny Price and John Mason) that formed my first sabbatical research.

My only consolation at this moment is that John is moving from teacher to student--so, I expect to see him around Harder Hall.
